Mr. Doyle William "Satch" Patterson, 70, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home in Green County.

The funeral services for Mr. Doyle William "Satch" Patterson will be conducted at 11amCT, Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Ladies Chapel Cemetery. Jason Patterson and David Patterson will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Jason Patterson , Logan Patterson, David Edwards, Steven Edwards, Odell Richards, James Ferguson, Garnett Wayne Davis.

Doyle William (Satch) Patterson, Green Co., KY (1941-2012)

Mr. Doyle William "Satch" Patterson was the son of the late Garland Patterson and Easer White Patterson. He was born on November 8, 1941 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home in Green County. He was 70 years, 11 months, and 6 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church, and was a self-employed dump truck driver.

He united in marriage to Rhonda Gwinn on December 22, 2008 who survives.

Other survivors include:
  • Two sons and daughters in law: Jason William and Melissa Patterson of Sulphur Well, KY; and Michael and Patricia Patterson of Oklahoma

  • Four grandchildren: Logan Patterson and Karlee Patterson both of Sulphur Well, KY; Christopher Patterson of Missouri and Shavon Patterson of Oklahoma

  • One great grandchild: Eve Patterson of Missouri

  • Nine brothers and sisters and their spouses: James Patterson, Geraldine Young both of Greensburg, KY; Elizabeth and Denny Smothers of Elizabethtown, KY; Kay and Ronald Bonta, Fay and J.W. Wright all of Greensburg, KY; Brenda and Luther Dile of Summersville, KY; Linda and Gary David of Louisville, KY; Karen and Randy Davenport of Greensburg, KY; and David and Jonie Patterson of Summersville, KY

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Mr. Patterson was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister: Charles Patterson and Carolyn Abell.

Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, which can be made at the funeral home.
