WEATHER for today from National Weather Service:
Hazardous Weather Special Weather Statement issued at 3:35amET, Saturday, October 13, 2012: "..SEVERE WEATHER AND GUSTY WINDS POSSIBLE SUNDAY...

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE OHIO VALLEY ON SUNDAY AND CROSS THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT. WINDS WILL INCREASE OUT OF THE SOUTH SUNDAY MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON AS THE FRONT APPROACHES. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH WILL DEVELOP BY MID MORNING WITH GUSTS OF 35 TO 40 MPH POSSIBLE. THIS MAY CAUSE DIFFICULTIES FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES DRIVING ON EAST TO WEST ORIENTED ROADWAYS.

IN ADDITION TO THE GUSTY WINDS...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP WEST OF THE REGION AND TRACK EAST DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THESE STORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS BEING THE MAIN THREAT. SOME LARGE HAIL MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

Today -Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8am. Cloudy, then grPatchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Light and variable wind becoming south 9 to 14 mph in the morning.

Tonight - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South wind 7 to 9 mph.
