Mary Frances Lane, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. Oct. 4, 2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Alma Mudd. She leaves 12 direct living descendants

Mary Frances Lane age 76 of Smiths Grove, KY, died Thursday October 4, 2012 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be 1pmCT, Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Seven Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 7, 2012, 4pm-8pmCT, at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Willie and Alma Mudd Robertson.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Danny Lane of Smiths Grove, KY; and Roger Lane of Park City, KY

  • Two daughters: Violet Hicks of Smiths Grove, KY, and Joyce Gill of Bowling Green, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Kevin Lane, Jennifer Gill, Johnny Hicks, Laura Hicks, Michael Gilla

  • Three great grandchildren: Ashley Vibbert, Christopher Gill, and Keely Gill
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Lane, and one brother James Lee Robertson.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
