He was a member of a large, respected Northeast Adair County, KY, family centered around the Ella, Adair County Community. He leaves many descendants to mourn his passing. He was a maintenance worker at Tarter's Pallet Mill in Dunnville, KY

Wendell Gleason Pyles age 50 years of the Neat Hollow Road, Columbia, KY passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 10:45pm at the Tarter's Pallet Mill in Dunnville, Casey County, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Anthony Bennett, Jamie Hadley, Colton Hadley, David Miller, Tony Gabehart, Chester Miller, Tony Gabehart, Jr. and Jarod Elmore.

He was born on April 24, 1962 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Johnny and Rosie Sallee Pyles. He died Wednesday, September 26, 2012, in Dunnville, Casey County, KY at the age of 50 years, 5 months, and 2 days.

He is survived by his wife: Tina Foster Pyles of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • Three sons: Teddy Pyles of Columbia, KY; Jimmy Pyles of Columbia, KY; and Camdon Harvey of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Denisha Bennett and husband Justin of Columbia, KY; Jessica Pyles of Columbia, KY; and Saige Bolin of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Billy Pyles of Russell Springs, KY; and Tommy Pyles of Florida

  • Four sisters: Shirley Brown of Columbia, KY; Norma Miller of Knifle

  • Three Grandchildren: Addison Litteral, Oakley Pyles and Rylan Pyles

  • Several nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends survive
He was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Randall, Travis, Keith, Dean, J.D., Teddy, Donald Pyles and Paulette Gabehart.

He was a maintenance worker at Tarter's Pallet Mill in Dunnville, KY. Send a condolence to the family of Wendell Gleason Pyles
