Andrew L. Jones, 75, S. Hwy 619, Jamestown, KY, died Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 7:43pmCT, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral will be at 11amCT, Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.



Andrew L. Jones, Russell County, KY (1936-2012)

He was born Friday, September 18, 1936 in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Charles McClendon Jones and the late Armadea (Weston) Jones. He died Saturday, September 15, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 27 days.

He was a farmer.

He is was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Bell Jones.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Stacy (Debbie) Jones, Jamestown, KY

  • Three daughters: Freda (J.F.) Elmore, Sheila (Ralph Dale) Brown, and Lela Russell, all of Jamestown, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Jones.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
