Lola Victoria (Sis) Robertson, 86, Center, KY (d. Sept. 12, 2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected North Metcalfe County, KY family. She leaves 19 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer Church

Lola Victoria "Sis" Robertson age 86 of Center, Metcalfe County, KY, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT, Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm noon-8pmCT, Saturday, September 15, 2012, and after 9amCT, Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Bramlett and Mary Katherine Williams Jewell. She was a homemaker and member of the House of Prayer Church. She is survived by:
  • Two sons: Odell and Eugene Robertson both of Horse Cave, KY

  • Four daughters: Sherry Coleen Burris of Columbia, KY; and Amy London, Lisa Childress and Pam Robertson all of Center, KY

  • One sister Doris Cross of Mt Washington, Kentucky, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren

  • Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Robertson, six children, two grandchildren and three sisters.

    Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
