Gurie Marcelli, 72, Russell Springs Road, Columbia, KY, died at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY, on Sunday, September 9, 2012. The funeral service will be 7pmCT, Tuesday, September 11, at Wilson Funeral home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery, Barbourville, KY.


Gurie Marcelli, 72, Russell Springs, KY (1939-2012)

She was born October 9, 1939, in Harlan, Harlan County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Steeley Rutherford, and the late Lettie Emma (Miller) Rutherford. She died Sunday, September 9, 2012, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 11 months.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Harold Marcelli, Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Debbie G. Dembinski, Taylor, MI; and Loretta Davis, Russell Springs, KY

  • One son: Roy Anthony Marcelli, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren

  • Seven great grandchildren
Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
