Michelle Anna Marie Cole (1977-2012)

She was a native of Washington County, IN, a resident of Taylor County, KY, a member of a highly regarded Little Cake area Adair County, KY family. She leaves two direct living descendants. She professed faith in Christ was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church in Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky. She was an employee of Winters Dining Hall at Campbellsville University and was a student at Campbellsville University

Michelle Anna Marie Cole of Campbellsville, daughter of Wanda Grant French, was born April 19, 1977 in Salem, Washington County, Indiana. She passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at her home. Age: 35

The funeral service was held at 1pmCT, Friday, August 31, 2012, at Tabernacle Christian Church, 13175 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, by Minister Eldon Rucker.



Pallbearers: Amos Gaskins, Jonathan Gaskins, Edward Grant, Jacky Grant, Michael Hinkle, Allen Roberts, Billy Smith, and Jason Smith.

Michelle Anna Marie Cole of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of Wanda Grant French. She was born April 19, 1977 in Salem, Washington County, Indiana. She passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 35 years, 4 months, and 7 days.

She professed faith in Christ was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church in Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky.

She was an employee of Winters Dining Hall at Campbellsville University and was a student at Campbellsville University.

She is survived by her beloved son and daughter, Devin Powers and Megan Powers of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • Her loving mother: Wanda French of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Hope Cole of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nieces: Shelby and Lexie, who loved "Auntie Chelle"

  • Her grandmother: Susie Grant, Little Cake, KY

  • One step brother: Tim R. French of Elizabethtown, KY

  • And a large loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sidney Grant and her step father, Ron French.

While we mourn the loss of Michelle, we also cherish her life in our memories of her most kind, generous and fun-loving spirit. We, who knew her best, rest with the knowledge of her professed belief in Christ and plan to see her in Heaven some day. - The Family
