Bank Consortium OKs agreement needed for WRH rescue loan By Ed Waggener The Adair County Fiscal Court's financial rescue plan for Westlake Regional Hospital is on track. According to CJE Ann Melton, who was called at 4:11pmCT, Terry Pew of the First & Farmers Bank said that the bank consortium holding the the bulk of the hospital's bonds agreed to forego initiating foreclosure proceedings for 60 days after a payment should become delinquent. With this agreement, the next step will be action at the 12pm noon CT, Thursday, August 23, 2012 meeting of the Adair County Hospital District Board of Trustees who are scheduled to complete necessary procedures required for Judge Ann Melton and Treasurer Barry Corbin to sign documents at the Bank of Columbia and United Citizens Bank.
