Meal will include Ken Hill's slaw, and food prepared by legendary caterer Paula Miller By Ken Hill There will be a Benefit Auction for friend and neighbor, Pam Grant, at 6pmCT, on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church's Davenport Fellowship Building, 2252 Campbellsville Road Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY, across from Betty's OK Country Cooking on KY 55 on the north side of Columbia, KY. This is a group effort in Hardscratch. Our store, the Glensfork Methodist Church, and many great folks are contributing their time and money to make this a great event. Why? To help our friend and neighbor, Pam Grant. Pam's husband, Johnny passed away suddenly in June and she could use a helping hand. NO! She didn't ask! All the more reason to help. What we are doing? We will have a Benefit Auction! Lots of quality items have been donated. We will have a complete list later in the week. We will have Pinto Beans, cornbread, sliced ham, and a big batch of that famous Hardscratch slaw. The meal is $5 plus drink and dessert. You can't eat that cheap anywhere! Plus, the legendary Paula Miller is preparing most everything. (I am making the slaw). One of Johnny's old coon huntin' buddies, Michael Helm and his gospel music group will be providing entertainment. Yep, for free! Come on out and have a good time with your friends and neighbors.
