Floyd Raymond Branham, 89, Edmonton, KY (d. Aug. 6, 2012)

He was a member of a highly regarded Metcalfe County, KY, family. He leaves six direct living descendants. He was a former employee of the Edmonton Toll Plaza and a member of the Cedar Flatt Cumberland Presbyterian Church

Floyd Raymond Branham age 89 of Edmonton died Monday, August 6, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 11amCT, Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, August 8, 2012, and after 9amCT, Thursday at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Francis and Bertie McIntyre Branham. He was retired from the Edmonton Toll Plaza and member of the Cedar Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Edmonton Quartet.

He is survived by his wife Betty Shaw Branham, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Judy and husband Darrell of Edmonton, KY; and June and husband Steve Bennett of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Al Branham of Glasgow, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Casey (Josh) Harlow of Glasgow, KY; Jacob (Amanda) Brown of Edmonton, KY; and Carrie (Jason) Roundtree of Horse Cave, KY

  • One great grandchild: Autumn Grace Harlow
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters, Henry, Otha Ray and Eldon Branham, and Beulah Coffey, Ruby Lair, Ina Grace Hurt and Clarice Boone.

The Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY in charge of arrangements.
