Ruby Lorene Noel, Casey County, KY (1925-2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Casey County family. She leaves 15 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and member of the Noel's Chapel Church of God.

Ruby Lorene Noel passed away Tuesday July 24, 2012 at Windsor Gardens in Bardstown, KY. She was 87.

Funeral services are 2pmET/1pmCT, Friday July 27, 2012 at Noel's Chapel Church with Bro. Chris Murphy and Bro. Jimmy Knifley officiating. Burial is at Noel's Chapel Cemetery.Visitation is 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.



Ruby Lorene Noel, Casey County, KY (1925-2012)

Born Sunday, January 25, 1925 in Casey County, KY she was the daughter of the late Herman and Elsie Brown Murphy. She died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Bardstown, Nelson County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 5 months, and 30 days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Noel's Chapel Church of God.

Mrs. Noel is the widow of Samuel Lee Noel.

Survivors include:
  • A son: Arthur (Debbie) Noel of Commercial Point, Ohio

  • Two daughters: Ellen (Larry) Bell of Liberty, KY; and Dorothy (Gary) Thompson of Bardstown, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Four brothers: Bearl, Shearl, Marion Murphy all of Liberty, KY; and Howard Murphy of Versailles, KY

  • Two sisters: Delorus Campbell Lebanon, Ohio and Anita Fletcher of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Murphy.
