Mr. Bobby Keith (Bob) Lee, Green Co., KY (1950-2012)

He was a native of Cumberland County, KY and a member of a highly regarded Green County family. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Community Baptist Church. He was District Manager for the Family Dollar Stores, Inc. for 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard from 1969 - 1974, and the Army Reserve from 1974-1975, and will be accorded full military honors

Mr. Bobby Keith "Bob" Lee of the McKinney Corner Community of Green County, son of the late Gayron B. Lee and Ruby Capps Lee, was born on September 21, 1950 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. He was 61 years, nine months and 27 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Bobby Keith "Bob" Lee will be conducted at 2pmCT, Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the McKinney Family Cemetery in Green County with full military honors. Bro. Mark Lile, Bro. Twyman Davis, Ronnie Ramsey, and Ronnie Rhodes will be officiating. Visitation is requested 2pm-9pmCT, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday, July 21, 2012, until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Ronnie Ramsey, Ronnie Rhodes, Duke McKinney, Brian McKinney, Darrell Eastridge, Brady Matney, Robbie Houk, and Brandon Crawford.

Honorary Pallbearers: Family Dollar Stores District Managers, and Family Dollar Stores Employees and Friends.

Mr. Bobby Keith "Bob" Lee was the son of the late Gayron B. Lee and Ruby Capps Lee. He was born on September 21, 1950 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in Greensburg, Green County, KY. He was 61 years, nine months and 27 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Community Baptist Church. He was District Manager for the Family Dollar Stores, Inc. for 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard from 1969 - 1974, and the Army Reserve from 1974 - 1975.

He united in marriage to Leslie McKinney on February 14, 1998 who survives. Also surviving are the following:
  • A son: Bobby Alexander "Alex" Lee of Greensburg, KY

  • His brother and sister-in-law: Gary and Carolyn Lee of Marrowbone, KY

  • His mother in law: Laverne McKinney of Green County, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and many friends.
The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
