Carmel Boat Ramp area from dumping household refuse in and around the litter barrels at the park. He said that the barrels are intended for picnickers and boat traffic, not in lieu of regular household garbage pickup. Sinclair said that he can almost always find the source of the trash, and asked the court to consider, also, surveillance cameras at the scene. County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin said that the fine for criminal littering is up to $500, and suggested a special county ordinance pertaining to the issue. Sinclair also announced the close of the Spring roadside cleanup work. with 362 miles cleaned and a total of 2,132 bags picked up. With the money, household chemicals and paints can be accepted for proper disposal by his department.
