Savoy Foster, 62, of Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville, KY.

At Savoy's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.



Savoy Foster, Adair County, KY (1950-2012)


He was born February 15, 1950, in Sweetwater, Nolan County, Texas, to the late George W. Foster and Darlene Huffman Foster who survives and now lives in California. He died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 62 years,, 4 months, and 17 days.

He served his country in the US Navy and was a former employee of M & W Milling company in Columbia, KY.

In addition to his mother, survivors include:
  • His wife: Millie Tucker Foster of Columbia, KY

  • One step-son: Kenny Pyles of Germany

  • One brother : Glen Foster of Hodgenville, KY

  • One sister: Brenda Foster of California

  • Several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jodie Foster
