He was a member of a well known and respected Hart County, KY family, and a native of Cumberland Co., KY. He was a retired construction worker.

Terry Harvey, 69, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 2pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial in the Dutch Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-9pmCT, Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Inc. in Burkesville.



Pallbearers: Jimmy Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Daniel Shelby, Ronnie Lee Trowbridge, Jason Mattingly, and Sam Mattingly.

Terry Harvey, 69, Cumberland Co. native (1943-2012)

Terry was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky, Friday, June 11, 1943. He was the son of the late Mildred Glee Vibbert Harvey, and the late Glenn Russell Harvey. He died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Hardyville, Hart Co., KY, at the age of 69 years, 10 days.

He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Lynn Harvey; three brothersm Donald Harvey; Ferry Glenn Harvey; Wayne Harvey; and one grandchild, Ronnie Ray Trowbridge.

He was a retired construction worker.

Survivors Include:
  • His wife, Lorene Horton Harvey, Hardyville, KY

  • Two sons: Chris Harvey of Louisville, KY; and Scott Tracy Harvey of Jeffersonville, IN

  • Two daughters: Melissa Harvey of Louisville, KY; and Sandra Trowbridge of Hardyville, KY

  • One brother: Jimmy Harvey of Jeffersonville, IN

  • Two sisters: Frances Norris (Sammy) of Burkesville, KY; and Peggy Sue Campbell (Ray) of Jeffersonville, IN

  • One step child: Rita Patterson of Greensburg, KY

  • Special brother in law and sister in law: Chester and Judy Lane of Hardyville, KY
