Harry Newcomb, Taylor County, KY (1941 - 2012)

He was a member of a prominent Taylor County, KY family. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church and the Kentucky National Guard. He was part owner and salesman with Newcomb Buick, Pontiac, GMC and a retired insurance agent with All State Insurance Company.

Harry Newcomb of La Grange, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Isaac Tate Newcomb and Susie Richerson Newcomb, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 18, 1941. He died at 6amET, Friday, June 22, 2012, in Louisville. Age: 70

Funeral services are at 12pm noon ET/11amCT, Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, in Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James E. Jones. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, at the funeral home.



Harry Newcomb, Taylor County, KY (1941 - 2012)

Harry Newcomb of La Grange, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Isaac Tate Newcomb and Susie Richerson Newcomb, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, Friday, July 18, 1941. He died Friday, June 22, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 11 months, and 4 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.He was part owner and salesman with Newcomb Buick, Pontiac, GMC and a retired insurance agent with All State Insurance Company.

He was a member of Kentucky National Guard.

He united in marriage to Lynette Long May 8, 1975.

Besides his wife, Lynette Newcomb, he is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Angela Lynn Newcomb of La Grange, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Larry Newcomb and wife, Sharon, and Barbara Moore , all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Noel Newcomb August 9, 2000.
