Bernadine Hoosier of Campbellsville, KY died at 7:40pmCT, Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Campbellsville, KY. She was 59 years of age.

Services will be held at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Jones Chapel Cemetery in Elk Horn by Bro. Jeff Newton.


Bernadine Hoosier, Taylor County, KY (1953-2012)

She was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 18, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Hoosier, Sr. and Haline Wethington Hoosier. She died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 59 years, six months, and 28 days.She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sisters: Phyllis Hoosier and Annetta Marcum and husband, Mike of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three nieces and one nephew: Lori Gutierrez and special friend, Ron Sallee and Sherri Benningfield of Campbellsville, KY; Jeannie Tungate and husband, Stan of Lexington, KY; and Tim Marcum of Louisville, KY

  • Eight great nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Elmer "Buddy" Hoosier, Jr. June 29, 2010 and Eugene Hoosier January 22, 2002 and one great-nephew, Zachary Harris.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to the funeral expenses and may be made at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral home.The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
