Dr. Sarah Brooke Hart, Jamestown, KY (1980-2012)

She was a mother of three children - two daughters and one son - and was expecting a fourth child, a second son. She was a member of the Freedom Christian Church in Jamestown, KY.

Dr. Sarah Brooke Hart, 31, of Clifty Creek Road, Jamestown, KY, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Jamestown, KY.

The funeral will be at Freedom Christian Church, 65 Freedom Church Road, Jamestown, KY, at 10amCT, Monday, June 18, 2012, with Dr. Ray Roberts the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Sunday. Burial will be in the Carnes-Ballenger Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Ryan Hart, Dusting Gosser, Wendell Roberts, Jared Gosser, Lloyd Hart, Eric Hart, Anthony Carnes, and Adam Shepard.

She was born Monday, December of 1, 1980, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of Cynthia Shepard Roberts and Wendell William Roberts. She died Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 31 years. 7 months, and 13 days.

She was a pharmacist and a member of Freedom Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ryan Lester Hart, and the following:
  • Three children: Avery Elizabeth hart, Addison Brooke Hart, and Archer Ryan Hart.

  • Her parents, Wendell and Cindy Roberts, Jamestown, KY

  • One sister: Dr. Elizabeth Ashley Roberts, Jamestown, KY

  • Her father in law and mother in law, Lloyd and Wanda Hart, Russell Springs, KY

  • Her paternal grandmother: Peggy Roberts, Jamestown, KY
She was joined in death by a son, Alexander William Hart. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Wendell A. Roberts and maternal grandparents, Morsie and Allene Shepard.

A Community Mourns loss of Sarah B. Hart (1980-2012)

Russell County is joined by people everywhere mourning the unspeakable tragedy which took the life of a favorite daughter, Dr. Sarah Brooke Hart. Sunday, June 17, 2012, the Russell County Natatorium/Auditorium was filled for a Community Memorial Service in support of the Roberts and Hart families. At far right, an impromptu memorial to Dr. Hart marks the spot near where the senseless act took place. The funeral for Dr. Hart will be at Freedom Christian Church, 65 Freedom Church Road, Jamestown, KY, at 10amCT, Monday, June 18, 2012, with Dr. Ray Roberts the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Carnes-Ballenger Cemetery.
