Oops! We didn't read Miz Victoria's report carefully enough

Sincere apologies to our readers. And to Miz Victoria.

In our haste to catch up we may have inadvertently scared the bejeezus out of all the phobia freaks among our cozy little readership. We will do better in the future. Miz Victoria had inserted "Styrofoam bear," and we overlooked the modifier.

Still, there are greater lessons for everybody else. It shows just how terrible it is when people don't take their internet seriously. One cannot fault the landlord, Mr. Jimmy, for erecting a monument to this wonderful icon of the wilds of Adair County.

But the reprehensibility of the irresponsible prankster who tricked Miz Victoria - and more worse - temporarily caught the BBRB offguard, is inexcusable! Old Rummy would have waterboarded them to the last one of there was. -EW

And a postcript: We're hoping our bear blase neighbors Casey and Cumberland Counties, who pay no more attention to a bear and cub than to a skateboarder, will overlook our excitement about Adair County bears. We're going to something of them being here! Don't think our board of trade or travel board will let the opportunities for bear industry profit pass by. -ED
