Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Radford Cary, age 56, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 2pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Parrish Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pmCT, Monday, June 11, 2012 until service time Tuesday.



Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Roadford Cary, Burkesville, KY (1955-2012)

She was born on Wednesday December 14, 1955 in Burkesville, Kentucky the daughter of Windell and Maxine Smith Radford. She died Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Celina, Clay County, TN, at the age of 56 years, 5 months, and 26 days.

She was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church, attended Burkesville Chrisitan Church and was a cashier for Walmart.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her daughters, Angela Riddle and Carla Riddle.

She is survived by her mother, Maxine Smith Radford of Burkesville, KY and the following:
  • Her children: Casey (and Patricia) Melton of Washington, DC: and Whitney (and Wesley) Long of Burkesville, KY

  • Her brothers and sisters: Leslie (and Joan) Radford of Burkesville, KY: Judy (and Sonny) Branham of Bixby, Oklahoma; and Roger (and Martha) Radford of Midlothian, VA

  • Her grandson, Braxton Long
