Gerald Wayne Coppler, 65, Warner Ridge Road, Jamestown, KY, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at his home.

Funeral services for Gerald Wayne Coppler will be at 1pmCT, Monday, June 11, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Steve Wheeler officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kerns Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.



Gerald Wayne Coppler, Russell Co., KY (1946-2012)

He was born Friday, August 30, 1946, in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. He was the son of the late Florence Walters. He died Thursday, June 7, 2012, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 65 years, 9 months, and 8 days.

He was a veteran of U.S. Air Force veteran. His civilian career was as a factory worker the the General Electric Corporation. He was a Baptist by faith.

He is survived by his wife, Mary McRae Coppler, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • Son: Michael, husband of Tara Coppler, Jamestown, KY

  • Step son: Alex, husband of April Lozano, Stonewall, TX

  • Step daughter: Sunshine Murphy, Savanah, TN

  • Sister: Ann Coppler, wife of Bob Wilson, Findley, OH

  • Two brothers in law: Danny Girdler and Richard Cavitt, Findley, OH

  • Two grandchildren: Dalton Coppler and Annie Coppler

  • Two step grandchildren: Ashley Murphy and Kadelyn Lozanon

  • And a host of nieces, nephews and friends
He was preceded in death by sisters Marcella Coppler Cavitt, Gerald Coppler Girdler, andd Carol Coppler; and by one brother, David Coppler.

Wilson Funeral Home, 391 Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
