Ocra Draper age 87 years a resident of Summit Manor Health and Rehab passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at 1:05pmCT, at Summit Manor Health and Rehab, Columbia, KY

Funeral service Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bill Smith and Sister Shirley Powell officiating. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 3pmCT, Friday, May 25, 2012.

She was born on November 14, 1924 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Wm. Marcus and Nancy Lou Kinnett Johnson. She died Monday, May 21, 2012, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 7 days.

She was the widow of Elmer Draper who preceded her in death on April 14, 1996She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: LaVerne Reliford and husband Rev. Gerald of Columbia, KY

  • Three sons: Elmer Draper, Jr. and wife Barbara of Louisville, KY' Richard Draper and wife Judy of Campbellsville, KY; Phillip Draper and wife Sue of LaGrange, KY

  • One sister: Maxine Moss of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Ewell Johnson of Michigan

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Five step grandchildren

  • Nineteen great grandchildren

  • Two great great grandchildren

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Shirley Akin; a son Roy Allen Draper; and grandson Doug Shirley.

She was a member of New Life for the Nations and was a homemaker and a member of the Adair Chapter 435 Order of the Eastern Star.
