Elby Ray Streeval passed away Friday May 4, 2012 at his home in Lincoln County, KY. He was 88.

Funeral services are 11amET/10amCT, Monday May 7, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial is at Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Sunday, May 6, 2012, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Elby Ray Streeval, Adair Co., KY native (1923-2012)

He was born Wednesday, August 15, 1923 in Adair County, KY, he was the son of the late Everett and Abbie Pryer Streeval. He died Friday, May 4, 2012, in Lincoln County, KY, at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 20 days.

He was an Army veteran, farmer and member of the Harris Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed working, especially cutting timber.

Survivors include the following:
  • Sons: Estil Streeval of Summerfield, Florida and Wilburn Streeval of Fairfield, Ohio

  • Daughters: Jean Wilson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dale Wilkinson of Moreland

  • Three grandchildren: Sherry, Vin and Joel

  • And six great grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Clifton, Charles, Leonard, Rufus, Willard, Millard, Roger, and Ernest Streeval; and three sisters, Lizzie Gillock, Vester Walls and Mary Dickerson.In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be given to Heritage Hospice.
