Please continue to send information on Thomas photos Thanks to everyone who has sent information to add detail to the dramatic black and white photos taken by Charles Thomas and submitted for posting yesterday, April 19, 2012 by his son Greg Thomas - after the tragic April 27, 1971 tornado which struck Adair County. To make it easier for future researchers, we'll combine the additions into one story and add the pertinent information to each photo. Incidentally, we'd love to see a copy of the Columbia Statesman and/or Adair County News edition with photos by Editor Pete Walker and others about the event. The Charles Thomas photos may be seen at this link: Skywarn Weather Training at Jones Chapel, April 26, 2012 - Please continue to send additional information and recollections using reply buttons with articles or photos of the event or using any Contact/Submit button. -EW This story was posted on 2012-04-20 07:21:28
