James Alan (Jamie) Beck, Taylor County, KY (1959 - 2012)

He was a highly regarded citizen of Taylor County, KY. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Acton Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Director. He was a former associate of Walmart in Campbellsville, KY.

James Alan "Jamie" Beck, 52, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 11:40pmET, Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. John Batcher. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Friday, April 20, 2012, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Stephen Beck, Carson Dooley, Jason Dooley, Joel Dooley, Chad Newton, and Timmy Newton.

James Alan "Jamie" Beck, Taylor County, KY (1959 - 2012)

James Alan "Jamie" Beck was the son of Rosaline Barnett Beck and the late Jack Gordon Beck, Sr. He was born in Taylor County, KY, Wednesday, June 17, 1959. He died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 52 years, 10 months, and 1 day.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Acton Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Director.

He was a former associate of Walmart in Campbellsville, KY.

He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Gwen and Jeremy Nally of Springfield, KY

  • His mother: Rosaline Beck of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Bertha "Tiny" Dooley and husband, Darrell of Lewisburg, TN; and Jeanie Coleman and husband, Michael of Shelbyville, KY

  • One sister-in-law: Rhonda Beck of Columbia, KY

  • Two nieces and three nephews: Cara Coleman, Tracy Dooley Driehaus, Jason Dooley, Joel Dooley and Stephen Beck<

  • And several other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Gordon Beck, Jr. December 26, 1982.
