Winnie Frances Coomer, Big Meadow, KY (d. April 18, 2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years and 17 direct living descendants. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church

Winnie Frances Coomer age 76 of the Big Meadow Community passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, April 20, 2012, and after 9amCT, Saturday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late William Lee and Ettie Simmons Rowe.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years Coy Coomer of Knob Lick, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Patricia Jessie and husband Jerry of Edmonton, KY; and Sherry Honeycutt and husband Robert of Hiseville, KY

  • Fifteen grandchildren and great grandchildren: Brad (Beth) Jessie, Sabrina, Brilynne, Braxton, Peyton and Kimber Jessie. Ronnie and Brayden Russell; abnd Corey (Janet), Justin (Mindy), Austin, Ty and Sierra Bailey and Whitney Honeycutt
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and James Howard Rowe.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
