Shannon Renee` Carter Davis, 49, departed this life Sunday, April 8, 2012 at her home in Green County, KY.

The funeral service will be at 11amCT, Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Clifton Sullivan the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Gowan Cemetery, Green County, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Zack Davis, T.Tom Davis, Michael Essig, David Carter, Jake Davis, andOrlando Taylor.

Shannon Renee` Carter Davis was born Thursday, February 4, 1963 in Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of Vernon (Pete) Carter of Campbellsville and the late Ruth Carolyn Gowan Carter. She departed this life Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Green County, KY, having attained the age of 49 years, 2 months and 4 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Church of God Faith. Shewas a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband PeeWee Davis, and the following:
  • Seven children: Cassie Renee` Amber,Tom Edward Davis, Zack, Sissy, Pete, Michael and Brian Davis, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers: Kenneth Ray Carter of Boyle County, KY and MichaelCarter of Louisville, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Melody, Daisy and Trinity Matney and Tristenand Akela Davis

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends
