Calvert T. Davis age 76, a native of Casey County passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services are 2pmCT, Sunday March 25, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. James Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the funeral home.



Calvert T. Davis, Casey County, Ky (1935-2012)

Born Friday, November 8, 1935 in Casey County, KY he was the son of the late Coy Henson and Annie Mae Overstreet Davis. He died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, at the age of 76 years, 4 months, and 12 days.

He was the widower of Carol Wilson Davis and was a self-employed businessman.

Survivors include:
  • Three daughters: Carolee Davis of Liberty, Debbie Gilbert of Trenton, Ohio, and Robin Sutherland of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren:

  • Two brothers: Deward Davis of Liberty and Larry Davis of Maysville, KY

  • Five sisters: Mildred Cochran and Etwell Davis both of Liberty, Fay Woodrum of Westchester, Ohio, Carol Vaughn of Dunnville, and Teresa Combs of Cincinnati, Ohio.
In addition to his parents and wife , Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Davis and a sister, Velma Mae Davis.
