Lucille Sneed Baker, 70, of Columbia, KY, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:45amCT at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, with Bro. Cleveland Johnson officiating.Burial in Antioch Cemetery, 8147 Burkesville Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, March 19, 2012, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: Neal Sneed, Randall Sneed, Gerald Sneed, Neal Owsley, P.J. Rowe, Jared Thompson.

Honorary: William Burton, Bill Nogar

Lucille Sneed Baker, Adair County, KY (1942-2012)

She was born Tuesday, January 6, 1942, in Adair County, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lula Mae Montgomery Sneed. She died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 11 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, SFC Clovis Baker, on June 14, 2008 and two brothers; Carl and Chester Sneed.

She was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from Osh Kosh B'GoshSurvivors include:
  • One son: Terry R. (Melissa) Baker of Glasgow, KY

  • Two daughters: Geraldine Baker (Arnold Ray) Fletcher of Russell Springs, KY, and Judy L. Baker of Frankfort, KY

  • One brother: James L. Sneed of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Fletcher, Jared Andrew Thompson, Allyson Claire Thompson

  • Several other relatives and friends
