Mrs. Beatrice Lobb Squires, 85, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Thursday, March 08, 2012 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill, Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Lobb Squires will be conducted at 12pm noon CT, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Steve Lee and Bro. Scott Eubank will be officiating. Visitation is requested 3pm-8pmCT, Friday, March 9, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.

Mrs. Beatrice Lobb Squires the daughter of the late Alton Curry and Lovie Clark Curry, was born Sunday, September 27, 1926, in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Thursday, March 08, 2012 in Greensburg, Green County, KY. She was 85 years, 5 months and 10 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Church of Christ. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. with 31 years of service.

She united in marriage to Adrain Bruce Lobb in 1946 who preceded her in death in 1983. She later united in marriage to E.T. Hickerson who preceded her in death, and to Nelson Squires who also preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Malcolm Kessler on February 10, 2004.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters and a son-in-law: Connie Kessler, and Brenda and Harry Kessler all of Greensburg, KY

  • Four grandchildren and their spouses: Bruce and Heather Kessler of Bowling Green, KY; Bryan and Donna Kessler of Greensburg, KY; Richie and Sonya Kessler of Campbellsville, KY; and Amy and Tim Shuffett of Greensburg, KY

  • Nine great-grandchildren

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Leo and Wanda Curry, and Larry and Rachel Curry all of Greensburg, KY

  • Sisters in law: Betty Curry and Helen Whitlock both of Greensburg, KY and Lois Kendall of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
