She was a member of a respected Taylor County, KY, family, a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY and a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church

Lou Ann Riggs Turner, 71, died at 5:32pmET, Thursday, March 1, 2012 in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Sunday, March 4, 2012, by Dr. James Jones, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will be in Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-2pmET/9am-1pmCT, Sunday, March 4, 2012.



Pallbearers: Gerald Farmer, Mark McKinley, Wayne Newcomb, Alan Riggs, Ashley Riggs, Kenny Riggs, and Timmy Riggs.

Lou Ann Riggs Turner, 71, Taylor Co., KY (1940-2012)

She was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, Friday, July 26, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Richard Bryant Riggs and Sindy Marie White Riggs. She died Thursday, March 1, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 6 days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She is survived by:
  • Four brothers and one sister: Orval Riggs and wife, Mary, Charles Riggs and wife, Audra, Elroy Riggs and wife, Rachel and Weldon Riggs, all of Campbellsville and Elaine Harrison and husband, Danny of Louisville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by one sister Donna Riggs Payne.The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
