Alfred Bob Foster, Liberty, KY, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. He was 80 years old.

Visitation will be on Sunday evening February 26, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Funeral Services officiated by Reverend Otis Clark will start at 2pmET/1pmCT, Monday afternoon, February 27, 2012 at Willow Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Willow Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.



Alfred Bob Foster, Casey County, KY (1931-2012)

He was born on Thursday, December 31, 1931 in Liberty, Casey County, KY. He was the son of Herbert and Gracie Richardson Foster (both now deceased), He died Friday, February 24, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 24 days.

He was also preceded in death by his spouse Juanita June Dalton Foster, two sisters, Altha Vaught and Alma Dalton and six brothers; Albert, Willie, Howard, Alger, Alvin and Alva Foster.

Survivors include:
  • Three daughters, Sharon Franklin and Robin Mitchell both of Stanford, KY; and Kathy Durham of Danville, KY

  • Three sons: Robert Foster of Stanford, KY; Roger and Mark Foster both of Danville, KY

  • Seventeen grandchildren

  • Twenty great-grandchildren.
