Corrine Sparks Harvey, formerly of Breeding, KY, (1920-2012)

She was a member of a highly regarded South Adair County, KY family. She was a longtime resident Breeding , KY, and Lexington, KY. Since moving to Bowling Green, she has been a member of the First Baptist Church there and Faith Sunday School Class. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid gardener and past member of several garden clubs.

Corrine Sparks Harvey, 91 of Bowling Green, KY died Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Nashville, TN.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10amCT, at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY. Visitation from 5pm-7pmCT, Wednesday, February 22, and from 9amCT until time of service on Thursday at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will be in the Fudge Cemetery, 847 Independence Ridge Road, Breeding, KY.

Corrine Sparks Harvey,She was born March 14, 1920 in Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hattie Chapman Sparks Traylor and Arthur Sparks. She died Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Nashville, Davidson County, TN, at the age of 91 years, 11 months, and 4 days.

She was a longtime resident Breeding in Adair County and Lexington, Kentucky. Since moving to Bowling Green, she has been a member of the First Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid gardener and past member of several garden clubs.

Mrs. Harvey is survived by the following:
  • One son: James D. Harvey and wife Sue of Nashville, TN

  • One daughter: Wanda Rosdeutscher and husband David of Bowling Green, KY

  • Two grandsons: Michael D. Harvey and John David Rosdeutscher and wife Kimberly

  • Three granddaughters: Jennifer Harvey Seay and husband Chuck; Heather Rosdeutscher, and Julie Rosdeutcher Crowe and husband Doug

  • Two great granddaughters: Corinne and Kira Crowe

  • And six great grandsons: Jordan and Noah Rosdeutscher, Matt Crowe, Jack Seay, Jacob Harvey and C.J. Penny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Harvey: two brothers, Albert Sparks and Melvin Sparks; a sister, Delores Sparks Smith, sister-in-law Vola Harvey, and step-father Joe Traylor.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, in charge of local arrangements.
