Donald Hare comments on the Homeland Security Grant Comments about Russell Co., KY Ambulance Service receives $953,059 grant The grant that Ed Whitfield's office sent out: this is a 90/10 grant meaning the county will only have to pay a 10% match. This was a regional grant in which the Adair and Russell received the award jointly. In Adair County the agencies which will share in the grant funding were: Adair County Ambulance Service, Columbia Fire Department, Adair County Fire Department.
