Burlie Hadley, 78 of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5amET, Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service is at 11amET/10amCT, Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Parrott& Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Carol G. Perkins. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers will be his nephews.

Burlie Hadley was the son of the late Allen Hadley and Mary Linda Simpson Foster Hadley, He was born in Adair County, Kentucky, Saturday, November 4, 1933. He died Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 8 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church in Adair County.

He was a retired custodian with Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY

He united in marriage to Earnestine Sneed September 29, 1962. She preceded him in death March 21, 2002.

He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Todd Corbin of Campbellsville, KY

  • One grandson: Josh Corbin of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Delmar Foster of Campbellsville, KY, and Mae Shepherd of Russell County, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Roy Foster, Alvin Foster, Arvil Foster, Gracie McGaha and Loranzy Foster in infancy.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, in charge of arrangements.
