Bobby (Pete) Parrish, Taylor County, KY (1951- 2012)

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and will be accorded military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. He professed faith in Christ and attended Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY

Bobby "Pete" Parrish, 60 of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:36 A.M., Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Lexington. Age: 60

Graveside services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. Larry Rowell with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no visitation.



Bobby (Pete) Parrish (1951 - 2012)

Bobby "Pete" Parrish was the son of Margaret Lamme Parrish and the late Billie Parrish. He was born Friday, April 27, 1951, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 5 days.

He professed faith in Christ and attended Beech Grove Baptist Church.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He united in marriage to Nona Warren August 2, 1968.

Besides his wife, Nona Parrish, he is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Chris Parrish and wife, Regina and Leanne Parrish of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Matthew Parrish, Megan Parrish and Whitney Houchens of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother: Margaret Parrish of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Patricia Wilson and husband, Troy of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother-in-law: June Warren Sluder and husband, Bill of Campbellsville, KY

  • One niece: Deanna Gupton and husband, Todd of Campbellsville, KY

  • One nephew: Kevin Wilson and wife, Tammy of Campbellsville, KY

  • and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, W. C. Warren October 4, 2000.
