He was a member of a respected Russell County family and a former gas dealership and roller rink owner in Jamestown, KY

Teddy R. Rikard, Valley View Drive, Jamestown, KY, died at 6:37amET, Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT, Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY. Burial will be in Bernard Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, after 5pmCT, Tuesday, January 17, 2012.



Teddy R. Rikard, Russell County, KY (1949-2012)

He was born July 25, 1949, in Tipton, Tipton County, IN,. He was the son of the late Harold E. Rikard, Sr., and the late Helen Louise (Edwards). He died in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 62 years, 5 months, and 21 days.

He was the former owner of the Somerset Oil outlet and Merryland Roller Rink in Jamestown, KY.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Cliff Rikard, Kokomo, IN; and Brandon Rikard, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two daughters: Amanda Rikard Phelps, Jamestown, KY; and Julie Rikard, Jamestown, KY

  • A brother, Randy Rikard, Walton, IN

  • Three grandchildren
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold E. Rikard, Jr.
