Mary Frances Wade, Russell Springs, KY (1933-2012)

She was a member of a large, highly regarded Russell County, KY family and beloved retired school teacher. She is remembered for her keen wit and humor, and for the never-ending supply of jokes and good humor - despite health issues - a characteristic which never ceased to amaze and inspire those who knew and loved her so much. She was an unabashed liberal in a sea of Republicans, but never made an issue of it. She endeared herself to all by being considerably more likely to poke fun at herself than at anyone else. She was truly a treasure. A remarkable woman who will be greatly missed.
