A look at the new 2012 Chamber Board of Directors

Looking at the New Year: Chamber Leaders for 2012 include President Roger Meadows, and Directors Brady Button, Wendy Butler Burt, Wes Bryant, Amy Chaney, Lee Ann Collins, Julie Combs, Carla Denton, Pam Hancock, Ron Heath, Brenda Mann, (Roger Meadows), Dr. Ronald P. Rogers, Debbie Selby, Robin Gayle Smith, and Eric West. This year, directorships are weighted toward banking and finance, with incoming President, Roger Meadows, from that group
Next board meeting is at 7:30amCT, Tuesday, January 10, 2011, at 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY

The Board of Directors of the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce is listed in the December 2011 Chamber Insignts, posted yesterday in ColumbiaMagazine.com. The list includes the names of the 15 member board, and the organizations with which they are affiliated, and by extension, the industries and sectors from which they are drawn.



The most broadly represented industry is banking and finance, with 6 slots. Lindsey Wilson College is represented with two direct memberships. Mercantile is represented by Walmart and Day & Day. Media is represented by two members, Duo County and WAIN, energy/environmental is represented by Crocus Mill Associates.

Three board members are directly from the education sector. One member is directly from healthcare. And the restaurant segment is represented by one director.
