Linda Gail Philpott, 68, of Campbellsville, KY died at 6:40pmET, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be at 10amET/09am noon CT, Friday, Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Bob Martin and Dr. Jerry Huffman. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers: Philip Cave, Stan Cave, Jeff Deener, John Baxter Jessie, Preston Pyles, and Doug Watson.

Linda Gail Philpott, Taylor Co., KY (1943-2011)

Linda Gail Philpott of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William "Bill" Cave and Sylvia Overton Cave, was born Monday, July 26, 1943, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was a former beautician.

She united in marriage to Billy Ray Philpott August 13, 1960.

Besides her husband, Billy Ray Philpott, she is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Robbie Philpott and wife, Sandra of Greensburg, KY; and Veronica Allen and husband, Shannon of Richmond, KY

  • Two grandsons: Cole Bland of Richmond, KY; and Ethan Philpott of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Lynwood "Sonny" Cave and wife, Lule Mae and Vicki Mullins, both of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • any other relatives and friends.
