Clyde Hutchison, Adair County, KY (1929-2011)

He was a member of a highly regarded family. He was a lifelong farmer, a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church, and an avid baseball fan.

Clyde Hutchison age 82 years of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY after several months illness.

The funeral service will be Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Neil Janes the officiating clergy. Interment in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. The family requests visiting after 3:30pmCT, Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Clyde Hutchison, Adair County, KY (1929-2011)

He was born Wednesday, January 9, 1929 the son of the late: Benjamin Robert and Mary Caldwell Hutchison of Adair County, KY. He died Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 4 days.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Catherine Brock Hutchison of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Lisa Hutchison-Griffith and husband Sean of Alameda, California

  • Three Sisters: Margaret Clements of Columbia, KY; Mary Kathyrn Davis of Jamestown, KY; and Ruby Morrison of Glens Fork, KY

  • Six nieces and nephews: Deanna Loy, Kenny Davis, Michael Jones, Clifton Jones, Melinda Withers, David Hutchison
He was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Hutchison, and one sister, Ruth Jones.

Mr. Hutchison was a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church, a lifelong farmer, and he was an avid baseball fan.
