Mary Frances Judd Upton, Greensburg (1928-2011) She was a member of a highly regarded Green County family, and of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a homemaker Mrs. Mary Frances Judd Upton, 82, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at her home. The funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Judd Upton will be conducted at 1amCT, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Blake Jessie will be officiating. Visitation is requested 5pm-8pmCT, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Tony Ford, Tim Ford, Trent Ford, Walt Parrott, Jerry Upton, Colby Upton, Harris Upton, and Tom Jones. Honorary Pallbearers: Mel and Emma Shuffett, William & Brenda Shofner, Joey and Kaylene Bush, Deana Montgomery, Peggy Patterson, Barbara Newman. Mary Frances Judd Upton, Greensburg (1928-2011) She was the daughter of the late Gene Judd and the late Cowherd Judd Patterson. She was born December 20, 1928, in Green County, KY, and departed this life in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 82 years, eleven months and eleven days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Robert Walker "Bobby" Upton on December 25, 1948 who preceded her in death on February 16, 2009. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Robin and Mike Bush of Greensburg; a son and daughter-in-law: John and Lynn Upton of Somerset; two grandsons: Colby Upton and Harris Upton both of Somerset; a brother-in-law: George Upton of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law: Fanola Upton of Greensburg and Katherine Beagles of Tennessee; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorials are suggested to the Greensburg Baptist Church Christian Life Center, which can be made at the funeral home. For online condolences log onto: www.cowherdandparrott.com.
