Pauline Schweitzer, 101, Casey Co., KY (1910-2011)

She was a native of Adair County, KY and a member of a highly regarded AdairCounty family. She had been a waitress at Union Station in Washington, DC, during her working years.

Pauline Schweitzer passed away Friday November 18, 2011 at the Liberty Care Center. She was 101.

Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. Memorial service will be held at a later date.



Pauline Schweitzer, 101, Casey Co., KY (1910-2011)

She was born Sunday , March 27, 1910 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Wallace Goode and Nannie Sanders Goode Randall. She died Friday, November 18, 2011, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 101 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

She was a waitress at Union Station in Washington, DC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Schweitzer; three brothers: Porter Jackson Goode, Ballard S. Goode and Wallace Goode, and three sisters: Marie Vanoy, Beatrice Julianne and Leona Murphy

Survivors include the following:
  • A brother: Virl Goode of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Vola Freeman of California and Jean Delp of Liberty, KY
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
