Peggy Ware Pyles, Taylor Co., KY (1933-2011)

She was a member of a large, respected Taylor Co., KY family. She was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, where she had been Grand Representative and Past Matron

Peggy Ware Pyles of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Cary U. Ware and Ida Pearl Coomer Ware, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 6, 1933. She died at 8:53 A.M., Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 78

Graveside services were held at 1pmCT, Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Brookside Cemetery, W. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY by the Order of the Eastern Star members and Rev. Kevin Brantly. Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Peggy Ware Pyles was the daughter of the late Cary U. Ware and Ida Pearl Coomer Ware. She was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, on Monday, February 6, 1933. She died in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at the age of 78 years, 8 months, and 19 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, having been a Grand Representative and a Past Matron.

She united in marriage to Marzon Pyles November 23, 1956. Besides her husband, Marzon Pyles, she is survived by the following:
  • One son and two daughters: Billy Pyles, Ivy Keen and Beth Murphy and husband, Jeff of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: James Broyles, Chad Skaggs and wife, Bonnie of Campbellsville, KY; Mary Lynn of Grayson County, KY; and William Broyles and wife, Angie of Lebanon, KY

  • Two step-grandchildren: Brock Murphy and Rayven Murphy of Olive Hill

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • One step-great-granddaughter

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Frances Elizabeth Pyles and three brothers and three sisters: William Ware, James Ware, Lennie Ware, Ruth Bradshaw Shope, Ivy Goff and Elizabeth Stone.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
