Personal opinions of the commentator

I'm not sure how some one who didn't attend the event can make sugguestions on how to improve it, or talk about how they should involve the businesses on the Square more.

How much more can you include them, than bring people to the area where their business is located?

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. As someone who attended Friday night, Saturday, and Saturday night I can tell you that I noticed an increased flow of traffic in and out of all the businesses that were open.

I'm not sure also how many of the people are "patting themselves on the back". These people work hard, put in several hours, and are always trying to put on a great weekend for the people of Columbia.

To give people in this county something to do one weekend, and also to lure in some people from other counties to see what a wonderful place Adair County is. Instead of always having something negative to say, or always wondering "what it cost the taxpayers," can't he just give a simple thank you

I noticed that some people always have ways to improve things, but never volunteer to help out themselves. Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, but they think each others stink. I personally want to thank ALL the volunteers who helped out that weekend to make it a wonderful weekend for Adair Countian's to enjoy. -STEVEN BAKER
