Mattie L. Anderson, Ira Drive, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 9:05amCT, at her home.

The funeral service will be at 11amCT, Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Cleveland Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 19m, 2011, after 5pmCT, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Russell County Memorial Gardens, Russell Springs, KY.



Mattie L. Anderson, Russell Springs, KY (1948-2011)

She was born Wednesday, February 25, 1948, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Cordell Brown and the late Jane Brummett Brown. She died Saturday, September 17, 2011, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 24 days.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Preston Anderson, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Robert Anderson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four daughters: Lisa Davis, Russell Springs, KY; Patricia Walsh, Columbus, IN; Jennifer Parnell, Sulphur Well, KY; and Linda Peterson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four brothers: Irvin (Pig) Brown, William Brown, Ralph Dale Brown, and Richard Brown, all of Jamestown, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel Stapleton.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
