Audrey L. Caldwell, Jeffersonville, IN (d. September 11, 2011)

She was a member of First Christian Church of Columbia, KY. She was the matriarch of a large respected family. Funeral and burial services will be in Indiana.

Audrey L. Caldwell, 81, of Jeffersonville, IN. passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the home a sister- in-law Joann Warren Caldwell of Columbia, KY. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 1pmET at E.M. Coots Funeral Home, 120 W. Maple ST, Jeffersonville, IN with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4pm-8pmET and Thursday after 10amET.


She was preceded in death by her husband, John Caldwell, formerly of Adair County. Her survivors include a sister-in-law, JoAnn Warren Caldwell of Columbia, KY.

Audrey was a loving mother to her children, Robert Caldwell, wife Robbin of Sellersburg, IN, Gilihia Drury, husband Mike of Jeffersonville, IN; Rodger Caldwell, wife Janis of Charlestown, IN; K. Doug Caldwell, wife Kim of Jeffersonville, IN; and Phillip Caldwell, wife Stephanie of Jeffersonville, IN; she was totally devoted to her 22 grandchildren who she called her sugar babies and she was lost in love with her 30 great grandchildren. She was also survived by her daughter-in-law Jennifer Caldwell, aunt Elsie Malone Ford, husband Odell, and her dearly beloved dog JoJo.

She is preceded in death by her sons John Jr. and Barry Caldwell and sister Carmen Lawrence.
