Buford R. Bibb, 65, departed this life Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service will be at 3pmCT, Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Garnett Wayne Davis, Rev. Charlie Houk, Rev. Scott Coats the officiating clergy.



Pallbearers: Vernon White, Heizer Durrett, Todd Durrett, Donald Gene Judd, Nick Cobb, Bradley Burris, James Patterson, Justin Smith

Honorary Pallbearers: Prentice Wyatt, Buddy Sprowles, Larry Sprowles, Paul SprowlesRoger Sprowles.

Buford R. Bibb was born Friday, May 3, 1946 in Green Co., KY. He was the son of the late Henry and Mell Wright Bibb. He departed this life Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY, having attained the age of 65 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Mr. Bibb had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He worked at Clark Casual for 32 years. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother: James Bibb.

He was united in marriage January 22, 1968 to Judith Sprowles Bibb, who survives.He is further survived by the following:
  • Two daughters and one son-in-law: Angie and Todd Durrett and AprilCobb, of Greensburg, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Mike Bibb and Ann Trimble of Greensburg, KY

  • His mother-in-law: Goldie Sprowles of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Chelsey and Kayla Cobb and Heizer Durrett, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two nieces:Kim Sanchetz of Arlington, Virginia and Kelli Thompson of Columbus, IN

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has requested donations be made to the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Youth Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
