Eva Rae Garner, 59, Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at her home in Jamestown, KY.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT, Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY with Rev. David Green and Bro. Jason Hood the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 6pmCT, Friday, August 19, 2011, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Tristen Burton, Nathan Davis, Michael Davis, Jason Davis, Garron Keltner, Randall Selby and Billy Birdwell.

She was born Thursday, September 22, 1951, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Marie George Birdwell and the late James Earl Birdwell. She died in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at the age of 59 years, 10 months, and 25 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herlen Preston Garner and by four brothers.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Donna (Nathan) Davis, Sandra Hopper and special friend Graron Keltner, and Regina (Jason) Burton, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Michael Davis, Lynette Davis, Jason Davis, Tristen Burton, Tessa Prim, and Amber Burton.

  • One great grandchild: Blake Davis

  • Three sisters: Mattie Guffey, Jamestown, KY; May Rexroat, Columbia, KY; and Sue Todd, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Joe Birdwell, Columbia, KY
